The 2026 South Australian Aquatics Conference & Awards, led by Surf Life Saving South Australia, Royal Life Saving South Australia and AUSTSWIM, is a key annual gathering for the state’s aquatic and swimming industry. It brings together industry leaders, facility managers, swim teachers, coaches, lifesaving professionals, local government representatives and aquatic sector staff for a day of learning, networking and collaboration.
The 2026 conference will be held at Glenelg Golf Club on August 20, and will be exploring current trends, industry challenges, innovation, safety, participation and best practice, helping to strengthen and grow the aquatic industry across South Australia. Attendees will also hear from inspiring keynote speakers who will provide valuable insights, fresh perspectives and practical takeaways that can be applied within their organisations and communities.
The event also includes a formal awards ceremony recognising and celebrating excellence across learn to swim programs, coaching, facility management, safety and community impact. It highlights the outstanding hard work, dedication and achievements of individuals and organisations across the sector while reinforcing the importance of swimming and water safety in South Australia.
